Typical responsibilities include:
Installing and splicing fiber optic cable Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber networks Reading construction prints, maps, and project documentation Supporting aerial and underground fiber construction projects Operating safely around construction equipment and active job sites Restoring service during outages and emergency situations Documenting completed work and test results Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment Following company safety procedures and industry best practices No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be supporting a new fiber build, while the next you could be troubleshooting network issues or assisting with a service restoration project. Travel & Schedule This position supports projects in multiple states and requires the ability and willingness to travel. Current travel assignments typically follow a 7-days-on / 7-days-off rotation , helping employees balance time on the road with time at home.

What We're Looking For We're seeking individuals who are: Reliable and dependable Safety-focused Mechanically inclined Comfortable working outdoors Willing to learn new skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Requirements Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds Ability to distinguish colors and read detailed technical information Basic smartphone and computer skills Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, and rotating shifts Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Experience That Transfers Well No fiber experience?
