Position:

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician to support commercial and industrial controls projects throughout the Denver market. This is a hands-on technical position involving BAS programming, system integration, graphics, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project closeout. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, field technicians, contractors, and customers to ensure building automation systems are installed, programmed, tested, and operating as designed. The position includes a combination of office-based technical work and travel to local project sites. What You'll Do Program and commission DDC and network controllers based on project sequences and specifications Develop and modify BAS graphics and front-end interfaces Integrate third-party equipment using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other building automation protocols Work with HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, VFDs, RTUs, VRF systems, generators, and related mechanical systems Perform system startup, point-to-point checkout, functional testing, and commissioning Troubleshoot BAS, controls, network, electrical, and mechanical system issues Verify control sequences and overall system performance Provide onsite technical support throughout installation, startup, commissioning, and turnover Participate in project walkthroughs, customer demonstrations, and system training Coordinate with customers, contractors, engineers, and internal project teams Maintain accurate project documentation, backups, as-built drawings, and closeout packages Help ensure assigned projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with project requirements What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial building automation, DDC, or HVAC controls experience Hands-on experience programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and integrating BAS/DDC systems Experience with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara N4/AX, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Distech Controls, Johnson Controls Metasys/FX, Honeywell WEBs, Siemens Desigo, Automated Logic WebCTRL, Delta Controls, Trane Tracer, Alerton, Reliable Controls, or similar systems Strong knowledge of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, LON, and BAS networking Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and control sequences, including AHUs, VAVs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, and VRF systems Experience integrating third-party HVAC and mechanical equipment into BAS platforms Ability to troubleshoot controls, electrical, networking, and HVAC system issues Experience developing or modifying BAS graphics and front-end interfaces Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings, control diagrams, sequences of operation, and project specifications Comfortable working on active construction sites and traveling to project locations throughout the Denver area Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to travel to project sites throughout the Denver region Comfortable walking active construction sites and using stairs and ladders Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as required Flexibility to work additional hours when needed to support project schedules A bit about us:
