Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Control Systems Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial control systems including DDC Control Systems for Buildings Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), schematics, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on low voltage and high voltage electrical systems while adhering to electrical safety procedures. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, control system schematics, and instrumentation diagrams to diagnose faults and implement solutions effectively. Utilize precision measuring instruments like voltmeters, ohmmeters, calipers, and other tools to ensure accurate system performance. Support field service activities by diagnosing issues on-site and providing technical assistance for industrial automation projects. Collaborate with engineering teams using AutoCAD or similar software for system modifications or upgrades. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards during all maintenance activities while maintaining detailed records of work performed. Experience Proven experience in industrial electrician work or control systems maintenance within manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of electrical instrumentation, schematics reading, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and industrial controls. Familiarity with industrial automation platforms such as Calypso or similar programming environments is preferred. Ability to interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and electrical blueprints accurately. Experience working with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in compliance with safety procedures. Skilled in using diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, vision inspection systems, and other precision instruments for troubleshooting. Knowledge of AutoCAD for system design or modifications is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent customer service skills when working with internal teams or external vendors during field service tasks.
