Job Description
Electronics & Systems Integration Technician Pay:
$33-$45/hr + exceptional benefitsLocation:
Longmont, CO Employment type: 6 month contract Overview Join a high‑performance engineering team developing next‑generation technologies. In this hands‑on role, you'll support the build, test, and integration of complex electronic systems by performing cable assembly, PCB inspection, soldering, and electrical testing. Your work directly contributes to the development of rugged, compact HEL weapon systems designed to operate in the most demanding environments. Key Responsibilities Test, inspect, and troubleshoot copper and fiber‑optic cables, harnesses, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) Assemble and terminate cables for laboratory and engineering test setups Perform high‑precision soldering and rework on electronic components Execute electrical assembly tasks, including wiring, routing, and connector integration Build and maintain cable harnesses to engineering specifications Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and IPC standards to ensure quality and reliability Support system integration activities in both manufacturing and clean‑room environments Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in electrical assembly, wiring, and soldering Experience with electronics testing, continuity checks, and troubleshooting Working knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 andIPC/WHMA
‑A‑620 standards Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation High attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality, reliable work Work Environment You'll work in a combination of manufacturing and clean‑room environments supporting the development of ruggedized HEL weapon systems. The facility is engineered for precision, safety, and reliability, enabling rapid prototyping and high‑performance system integration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
