Job Summary:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Ski Lift Electrical Technician to join our lift maintenance team. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of electrical systems who is ready to learn and grow in a hands-on mountain operations environment. You'll assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical components that power and control aerial and surface lift systems.Job Specifications:

No Job Responsibilities:
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in- -Assist with routine inspection and maintenance of lift electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
- Support troubleshooting of basic electrical and electronic issues under the supervision of experienced technicians
- Learn to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer service manuals
- Help maintain lift safety systems, communication lines, and warning systems
- Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance and repair activities
- Work closely with lift operations and maintenance teams to support daily lift readiness
- Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory standards
- Participate in training to gain knowledge of
ANSI B77.1
standards, OSHA regulations, local regulations and Vail Resorts safety standards, policies and procedures- Assist with off-season maintenance projects, testing, and system upgrades
Job Requirements:

- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with both mechanical and electrical systems
- Comfortable working outdoors in alpine weather and at heights
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Must have or ability to obtain a valid US driver's license
- Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred
