Electronics Technician/Assembler Job Description Join our team as an Electronics Technician/Assembler on the 1st shift. This role involves assembling electrical components with a focus on soldering electronic components to panel wiring, soldering and more plus using schematics. Responsibilities Solder electronic components to circuit boards using schematics. Wire light fixtures, ensuring the correct wire colors are used for installation. Build industrial electrical control panels and light fixtures. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical/electronic control panel building. Ability to read and work from schematics. Proficiency in wiring, crimping, and troubleshooting electronics. Competence in using hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, and meters. Additional Skills & Qualifications Open to candidates who have completed an electrical tech school program and are eager to learn. Experience with control panel wiring and soldering is ideal. Work Environment The role is based in a production setting. It is a quiet area where self-motivation is crucial, as you may work independently. The shop consists of 30 people in total, with a close-knit team of 7-8 in similar roles and 2 full-time electrical technicians. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st shift, totaling 40 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor Locks, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
