Mechanic (part time)

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled full-time or Part-Time Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair gas, diesel, and small engine equipment. This position works on a variety of engines and related systems for a local Tree Service company located in Milton. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Qualifications Experience repairing gas, diesel, and/or small engines preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of engine systems, preventive maintenance, and common repair procedures. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams, and repair instructions. Dependable, organized, and able to manage time efficiently. Valid driver's license/CDL Technical training or certifications are a plus. Ability to work independently. Work Schedule This position may be full-time or part-time based on the needs of the business and the candidate's availability. Some overtime, seasonal hours, or occasional weekend work may be required depending on workload. Compensation and Benefits Compensation is based on experience and skill level. $28/hr.
