Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pond and Fountain Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and enhancing outdoor water features such as ponds, fountains, and waterfalls. Your expertise will ensure these features operate smoothly, look stunning, and remain safe for public enjoyment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply mechanical skills, and contribute to creating beautiful aquatic environments that captivate and inspire. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on ponds, fountains, and related equipment to ensure optimal operation and aesthetic appeal Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as pumps, filters, valves, and lighting systems using hand tools and power tools Conduct regular cleaning of water features including debris removal, algae control, and water quality testing Install new water features or upgrade existing systems by following technical specifications and safety standards Inspect equipment for wear or damage, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs as needed Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure proper documentation Assist with seasonal start-up and shutdown procedures to prepare water features for different weather conditions Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting Familiarity with pool maintenance, cleaning techniques, and water chemistry management Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, as well as power tools like drills and saws Experience working as a service technician or in a maintenance role involving outdoor water features or similar equipment Ability to perform routine pool cleaning tasks and maintain water quality standards Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Join us if you're passionate about creating beautiful aquatic environments!
