ISO/IEC 17025
accredited calibration laboratory , is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our technical team. The Calibration Technician will perform calibration, testing, inspection, and documentation of a wide variety of measurement and test equipment. We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and quality. Key Responsibilities Perform calibrations in accordance with approved procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable quality requirements. Calibrate and test measurement equipment in one or more disciplines, including electrical, pressure, temperature, dimensional, torque, force, mass, mechanical, and related instrumentation . Perform both in-house and onsite calibration services as required. Accurately record calibration data and measurement results. Complete calibration documentation and technical records. Identify and report out-of-tolerance (OOT) conditions and equipment requiring repair or further evaluation. Properly use and maintain reference standards and calibration equipment. Follow laboratory procedures for equipment handling, traceability, environmental conditions, and quality control. Perform intermediate checks and basic maintenance of laboratory standards when assigned. Troubleshoot equipment and assist with technical evaluations. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Work with the Technical Operations Manager and Quality Department to ensure compliance with
ISO/IEC 17025
2017 requirements. Support customer and accreditation audits when required. Follow company safety requirements during both laboratory and onsite work. Qualifications Previous experience in calibration, metrology, electronics, instrumentation, avionics, mechanical measurement, or a related technical field preferred. Understanding of measurement principles, tolerances, accuracy, and basic calibration concepts. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, specifications, procedures, and equipment documentation. Comfortable working with precision measurement equipment and laboratory standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers. Must be willing to perform onsite calibration work when required. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in an
ISO/IEC 17025
accredited laboratory . Aviation, aerospace, MRO, manufacturing, military, electronics, or industrial calibration experience. Experience with equipment such as multimeters, pressure gauges, torque wrenches, temperature instruments, calipers, micrometers, scales, force gauges, and other test and measurement equipment. Familiarity with measurement uncertainty and traceability. Technical school, electronics, engineering technology, metrology, avionics, or equivalent technical training is a plus. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to safely handle calibration equipment and customer tools. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work at laboratory benches for extended periods. Ability to travel locally to customer facilities for onsite calibration when required. Must follow all company PPE and safety requirements. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience.
