Electronics Tech Maint III Job Description You will be an Aircraft Electrician III for our traveling modification team, with more than 80% of your work completed on the road. What You Will Be Doing Our team is responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems on C-130J and CV-22 aircraft, and we're looking for a skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start. What You Will Be Doing As an Aircraft Electrician III, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, clamping, terminating, and testing of electrical cables and harnesses on C-130J and CV-22 aircraft. You will need to have a strong understanding of avionics systems, including Communications/Navigations, Guidance Control, Electronic Warfare, and Electro/Environmental systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Installing, clamping, terminating, and testing electrical cables and harnesses
  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining avionic/electrical systems, components, and related equipment
  • Removing and installing aircraft components as required
  • Conducting functional tests of components and systems
  • Reading and interpreting manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and other specifications
