Job Overview :
The Maintenance Specialist role requires a highly skilled technician with expertise in diagnosing and repairing various appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers. This role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving complex appliance issues efficiently and ensuring tenant satisfaction through high-quality service. In addition to appliance work, the Maintenance Specialist will handle basic maintenance duties as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, a commitment to learning, and excellent technical skills to support the maintenance team effectively.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Diagnose and repair a range of appliances, including but not limited to refrigerators, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, and washers/dryers. Conduct regular appliance maintenance to prevent breakdowns and prolong the life of each unit. Perform basic troubleshooting for other maintenance issues, such as minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs based on urgency and tenant needs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and parts are readily available and in good condition. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address broader property maintenance needs and complete work orders. Provide friendly and professional communication to tenants, clearly explaining issues, repairs, and timelines for resolution. Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to minimize potential issues and improve equipment reliability. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on appliance repair techniques and general maintenance skills. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and dedication to delivering high-quality service. High School Diploma or GED Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Certified in HVAC or minimum working knowledge of Heating and AC a Plus! Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation required Successful candidates will have maintenance experience, professional presentation, a customer service focus, and a responsible driving record. The work schedule is M-F 8:30 AM-5:30 PM with rotating on-call responsibilities nights and weekends. You've worked for the rest, now come and work for the best!
