In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, maintaining, and optimizing automated systems that enhance production efficiency and quality. Your expertise in robotics, programmable logic controllers, and mechanical systems will drive innovation and ensure seamless operation of complex automation equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about advancing manufacturing processes through automation technology. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair robotic systems, including Fanuc robots and vision inspection systems, to ensure optimal performance. Program and modify robot operations to meet production specifications, utilizing robot programming skills. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support system installation and maintenance. Conduct root cause analysis on automation failures and implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop automation solutions aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, repairs, and modifications using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Support the integration of distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for streamlined operations. Requirements Proven experience with robotics programming, particularly Fanuc or similar brands. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in tooling, machining, and schematic reading. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics accurately; experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred. Knowledge of vision inspection systems and distributed control systems (DCS). Skilled in root cause analysis to troubleshoot complex automation issues efficiently. Basic understanding of AutoCAD for system layout design; experience with machining is a plus.
