This role is essential to ensuring quality control and precision in our optical lens production process. Primary Responsibilities Spot lenses to check power and prism measurements for accuracy Inspect and pad block lenses using specialized blocking equipment Operate edging equipment to edge lenses to proper specifications and requirements Use buffing equipment to polish lens edges before mounting procedures Clean and insert ophthalmic lenses into ophthalmic frames with precision Utilize lensometer equipment to check lens attributes against established quality standards Verify lens treatments and proper frame alignment against prescription specifications Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Experience Prior experience in optical/lens manufacturing is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates.
