Job Description

Job Summary:
The Overnight Engineer Technician 3 is responsible for performing advanced preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs throughout the World Equestrian Center. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer or designated Supervisor, this role begins each shift with turnover communication and task assignment. The Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation of facility systems and contributes to the overall guest experience through expert-level maintenance services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair complex maintenance issues across the property. Complete work orders assigned by various departments in a timely and professional manner. Monitor and record daily readings of heating, cooling, and water systems. Perform diagnostics and repairs on HVAC equipment as needed. Conduct advanced carpentry, painting, wallpapering, and drywall repairs. Troubleshoot and perform minor electrical repairs. Execute preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and other areas. Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the associate occupying this position. Physical Requirements:
These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions described of this position. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours. Must be able to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling tools and equipment. Visual acuity for close inspection and repair work. Must be able to communicate clearly and hear effectively. Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in maintenance or a related field. Journeyman-level knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, and plumbing systems. Strong guest service and communication skills. Proficiency in computer systems and advanced math. Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills. High-level comprehension of system operations and ability to troubleshoot effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
