Onsite Join Clariant and you will play a critical role in keeping our industrial operations safe, reliable, and running efficiently. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, and process control equipment, including PLCs, motors, drives, and power distribution systems. By applying Clariant Life Saving Rules and leveraging your technical expertise, you'll ensure our facilities operate at the highest standard, while continuously improving conditions for safety, efficiency, and performance. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proactive mindset will make a real impact on both the team and our operations. Responsibilities Recognized and applies Clariant Life Savings Rules into all work and strives to make conditons better than found. Required to be on call and work night shift and weekends as scheduled/required. Uses Microsoft and basic computer skills to access CMMS, Training, Drawings, Etc. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 25 lbs, and climb stairs/ladders up to 180 feet. Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and process control equipment in an industrial plant, including power distribution, motor controls, PLC's, wiring and process controls, involving work of a varied nature with minimum supervision. Profivient knowledge and use of various test instruments such as calibration, diagnostics, and monitoring systems. Detailed knowledge of operation, maintenance, repair and calibration of chemical process industry instrumentation and controls (for level, flow, pressure, temperature, analysis, pneumatic actuated valves, control valves). Detailed knowledge of programmable logic control (PLC) systems and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain these systems. Detailed knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical supply and distribution systems (Motors, Drives, MCC, Transformers, Disconnects, wiring, lighting, etc.)
