Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required for potential full-time employment Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to support advanced underwater and defense mission systems in Riviera Beach, Florida. This hands-on position is ideal for an electronics technician with strong experience in soldering, wire harness fabrication, crimping, cable assembly, electronics troubleshooting, and electrical testing . The successful candidate will work with printed circuit boards (PCBs), cable connectors, wire harnesses, electronic assemblies, and specialized test equipment. You will interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials while building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting electronic assemblies. This position offers a 4/10 work schedule, competitive hourly pay, and potential opportunity for direct full-time employment . Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on soldering and electronic assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs), cable connectors, and electronic components Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering Assemble, strip, crimp, terminate, and fabricate wire harnesses and cable assemblies Build assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Perform visual and electrical inspections of electronic assemblies Conduct continuity, resistance, insulation, voltage, and other electrical testing Troubleshoot defective electronic assemblies and cable systems Perform repair, rework, and corrective actions on electronic hardware Use digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, continuity testers, and other electronic test equipment Document inspection results, troubleshooting activities, repairs, and corrective actions Maintain clean room and ESD-controlled work environments Follow ESD, safety, quality, and material-handling procedures Support prototype builds, low-rate production, repair, and field-service deployments Perform final cable assembly processing, including molding and potting compound injection to create watertight cable barriers Work with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues Support continuous improvement and process optimization Travel to customer and field locations for up to three consecutive weeks per assignment Set up field workstations and provide onsite electronics repair and technical support during deployments Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on electronics assembly or electronics technician experience Demonstrated experience with soldering and wire harness manufacturing Strong hands-on experience with IPC soldering standards Experience with
