The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience with electronics assembly, soldering, cable and wire harness fabrication, crimping, troubleshooting, and electrical testing. This role will support prototype builds, low rate production, repairs, and field deployments. The position also requires the ability to travel for customer and field assignments for up to three continuous weeks at a time. Key Responsibilities Perform hand soldering on printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, and connectors. Perform surface mount, through hole, and BGA soldering and rework. Assemble, crimp, terminate, and fabricate wire harnesses using engineering drawings and schematics. Perform visual and electrical inspections, including continuity and insulation resistance testing. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials. Troubleshoot, repair, and rework defective electronic assemblies. Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, continuity testers, and other electronic test equipment. Perform final cable assembly processing, including molding and potting compounds to create water tight cable barriers. Maintain ESD controlled and clean room environments while following applicable safety and handling procedures. Support prototype builds, low rate production, and field service deployments. Work with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical and production issues. Travel to customer and field locations for up to three continuous weeks per assignment. Set up workstations and perform onsite repairs and technical support during field assignments. Document test results, defects, repairs, and corrective actions. Basic Qualifications Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent military or industry training. 3 or more years of hands on electronics assembly experience. Strong experience with soldering and wire harness manufacturing. Experience with surface mount and through hole soldering.

Experience with crimping, wire stripping, and cable termination. Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies and identify faults. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team. Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to three continuous weeks per assignment. Ability to obtain a security clearance if required upon conversion. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
