Lead Automotive Technician Dan's Brake World - St petersburg,fl
Pay:
$28+ based on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM About Us Dan's Brake World is a trusted, family-owned and operated auto repair shop serving our community for over 40 years. We take pride in providing honest, high-quality automotive repair and maintenance with a friendly, team-focused atmosphere. Our technicians enjoy a clean, well-equipped workspace and a supportive environment where their skills are valued and rewarded. Position Summary We're looking for an experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and leadership ability. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a close-knit, reputable shop. Responsibilities Perform accurate mechanical and electrical diagnostics on all types of vehicles Handle all aspects of mechanical repair , including: A/C service and repair Engine repair and maintenance Suspension and steering work Timing jobs and general maintenance Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive shop culture Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and good driving record ASE certification is a plus (not required) Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay Paid time off Monday-Friday schedule - no weekends!
