Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician specializing in Physical Dimensional calibration. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Calibrate equipment including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, mechanical gauges, thread rings/ plugs, temperature, pressure, torque devices, etc. Calibrate primary, secondary, and working standards. Generate calibration reports and certificates. Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment. Collaborate with engineering teams on calibration procedures and improvements. Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols. Assist with audits by providing technical guidance and expertise
Requirements and Skills:
Proven work experience in electrical, temperature, torque, and physical dimensional calibration. DOD, PMEL, or Military calibration background preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work. Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills for team interaction and client collaboration. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
