Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description Position Summary Responsibilities will include installing, servicing, and repairing pedestrian power/automated doors and glass panels, and ensuring service is completed efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The individual in this role may also assist with outside sales. Essential Functions Use electrical, mechanical, and electronic skills. Drive to the jobsite to assess customer's service/repair needs and complete repair of the product to the customer's satisfaction. Consistently seek and promote opportunities for service, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts. Acquire knowledge of all products and pricing to price, market, and sell replacement products and repair parts. Develop mechanical skills, learn new techniques, and remain current with product requirements for installation materials to meet safety specifications and maintain quality workmanship. Ensure that service-related docs and timesheets are completed and submitted accurately and in a timely manner. Collect COD's when applicable; solve problems with collections or scope of work changes. Maintain inventory on truck - all parts, part numbers, and part descriptions. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Customer service orientation and a strong work ethic Ability to work hard with an eye for quality Knowledge and understanding of products, power and hand tools to complete required service and repair tasks a plus Experience in outside sales is a plus Education, Training, Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license required Previous experience in residential and/or commercial construction Ability to operate power and hand tools Ability to read and write English AAADM certification a plus, but not required Working Conditions and Physical Demands Work is performed at customer sites with exposure to extreme weather conditions; noisy, dusty, and dirty environments; and motorized equipment that pose potential safety hazards. Long periods of standing, as well as regularly walking, sitting, lifting, reaching, and bending, are required. This is an active role that includes traveling and a considerable amount of driving. In addition, office equipment such as a computer and cell phone are used. Regularly lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Proper safety procedures, lifting techniques, and personal protective equipment are always required. This position may require extended hours and overtime depending on business needs.
