In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, and other heavy-duty machinery. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates at peak performance, delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and technologies while providing top-tier customer support. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair outdoor power equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and generators using schematics and technical manuals Perform diesel engine repairs and automotive repairs on various equipment models Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to complete repairs efficiently Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and heavy lifting tasks safely to ensure equipment longevity Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, maintenance procedures, and product recommendations Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all repairs performed Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in outdoor power (small engines) or heavy equipment repair Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, equipment repair, generator repair, and diesel engine repair Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams accurately Experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and electrical systems Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and electrical troubleshooting methods Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in outdoor environments comfortably Prior experience working with sales or providing product recommendations is advantageous Join us in delivering top-quality service while advancing your skills in a vibrant team environment!
