Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laser Template Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing laser templates used in precision cutting and fabrication processes. Your expertise will ensure that laser operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced CNC machinery and CAD software in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Vero Beach Marble & Granite is looking for an experienced and dependable Laser Template Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience templating countertops and working with natural stone, quartz, porcelain, or similar materials. Responsibilities Perform accurate digital laser templates for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, walls, backsplashes, and other stone surfaces. Measure and document jobsite conditions, dimensions, walls, cabinets, appliances, sinks, and other relevant details. Identify potential installation or fabrication issues before templates are finalized. Take detailed measurements and photographs to ensure accurate fabrication. Communicate with customers, contractors, builders, and the installation/fabrication team as needed. Review plans and drawings to verify dimensions and project requirements. Upload and organize template information for fabrication. Maintain laser templating equipment and ensure it is properly calibrated and cared for. Follow company procedures for accuracy, safety, and quality control. Represent Vero Beach Marble & Granite professionally while working at customer homes and job sites. Qualifications Previous experience with countertop templating is preferred. Experience with digital laser templating equipment is strongly preferred. Knowledge of countertop fabrication and installation is a plus. Ability to accurately read construction plans and drawings. Strong attention to detail and excellent measuring skills. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple jobs. Professional, reliable, and punctual. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and work in various jobsite conditions. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands that accuracy is critical to a successful countertop installation , and can work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality. Experience with stone countertops, fabrication, installation, or digital templating is highly valued.
