We are looking for someone who is comfortable diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial hot-side kitchen equipment , while also being capable of handling electrical repairs and general commercial maintenance work. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and can work on a variety of equipment and repairs rather than doing the same type of job every day. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial ovens, fryers, grills, griddles, ranges, steamers, warmers, pasta cookers, toasters, and other kitchen equipment Troubleshoot gas and electrical components , including thermostats, contactors, relays, switches, heating elements, motors, wiring, controls, and safety devices Perform preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment Diagnose basic electrical problems, replace outlets, switches, fixtures, breakers, wiring, and related components when within scope Perform general commercial maintenance and handyman repairs Minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacement Door, hinge, closer, lock, and hardware repairs Light carpentry, shelving, wall repairs, and miscellaneous installations Read wiring diagrams and use a multimeter for troubleshooting Document findings, repairs performed, and additional recommended work Communicate professionally with restaurant managers and customers Maintain company tools, vehicle, and work area Qualifications We are looking for someone with hands-on commercial service experience who is comfortable troubleshooting rather than simply replacing parts. Commercial restaurant-equipment experience is strongly preferred. Experience with 120V/208V/240V electrical systems, gas-fired equipment, electrical controls, motors, switches, relays, contactors, and wiring diagrams is highly desirable. Candidate should have a valid driver's license, reliable attendance, good communication skills, their own basic hand tools, and the ability to work independently in restaurants and other commercial facilities. Experience with refrigeration or HVAC is a major plus , but is not required for this position. What We're Looking For We're especially interested in a well-rounded technician who can be sent to a restaurant for a fryer or oven problem and also handle the smaller electrical, plumbing, door, lighting, or general repair issues that commonly come up at commercial properties. This is a field service position , so the right person should be comfortable diagnosing unfamiliar equipment, researching parts, communicating what they find, and determining the proper repair. Schedule Full-time field service position serving the Orlando/Winter Park and surrounding Central Florida area . Some after-hours or weekend work may occasionally be available or required depending on customer needs.
