Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hydraulic Repair Bench Technician and become a vital part of our maintenance and repair operations! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing hydraulic components and systems on a dedicated repair bench. Your expertise will ensure that hydraulic equipment operates efficiently and reliably, supporting various industrial applications. Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics on hydraulic components using specialized tools and test equipment, including ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance. Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and related parts with precision. Conduct functional testing of repaired components to verify proper operation before returning them to service. Maintain accurate records of repairs, test results, and parts used for each job to ensure traceability and quality control. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling hydraulic fluids, pressurized systems, and electrical testing devices. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and share technical knowledge for continuous improvement. Keep work area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies to maximize efficiency. Skills Strong understanding of hydraulic systems components and their functions. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics clearly. Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Good communication skills to document repairs accurately and collaborate effectively with team members. Prior experience working on hydraulic repair benches or similar environments is preferred. Knowledge of safety standards related to hydraulic systems and electrical testing is essential.
