Automation Technician -AGVs This role supports uptime, safety, and reliability of the E80 AGV fleet through hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting. All programming/software configuration is performed by approved contractors/vendor personnel , with this technician partnering on-site to support execution and verificationOverview Job Title:

Full-time Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AGVs, chargers, docking stations, Conveyor Systems, overall facility maintenance, and supporting equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/sensor issues; gather logs/fault codes and escalate software-related issues appropriately.
- Support installation and commissioning of new AGVs and related hardware (startup checks, validation, readiness verification).
- Work alongside approved contractors/vendor techs during software updates, configuration changes, and fleet modifications—provide on-site support and confirm operational performance post-change.
- Conduct safety checks: E-stops, safety scanners, warning systems, speed zones, and safe operating compliance.
- Maintain spare parts, track usage, and support inventory planning for critical AGV components.
- Document work performed (service reports, parts used, downtime reason codes, corrective actions).
- Train and support operators on proper AGV interaction, basic fault recognition, and safety procedures.

- Communicate PTO coverage plans with customer
- Coordinate and drive warranty requests
- Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer's repair guidelines.
- Judgment and Decision Making - Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
- Inspecting Equipment - Perform audits on equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
