Job Description

Instrumentation Technician Provides maintenance instrumentation support to ensure reliable monitoring and control of water/wastewater processes. Key Responsibilities Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair process instrumentation (pressure/level/flow/analytical). Perform loop checks and I/O verification (4-20 mA, HART, Modbus). Update calibration certificates and loop drawings; maintain documentation. Coordinate with electricians/SCADA teams; follow NFPA 70E and LOTO. Document work in CMMS and maintain spare parts inventory. Qualifications 3+ years industrial instrumentation experience; water/wastewater preferred. Ability to read P&IDs and schematics; proficient with calibration tools. Strong safety record; valid driver's license. Education & Certifications Technical certificate or Associate's preferred; equivalent experience considered. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Field/plant environment with outdoor work in varied weather; exposure to chemicals, biological hazards, energized equipment, and confined spaces.
