Atlantis Submarines has an immediate employment opportunity for a Master Electronics Technician in our Maintenance Department at Pier 27 in Honolulu (703 N. Nimitz Highway). This position requires at least 5 years of experience as an Electronics Technician and formal education or training in electronics. Previous military electronics experience helpful. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in marine electrical and electronic equipment. Experience with marine AC and DC power systems, including 240/480 VAC distribution, motor controls, and generators. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills are highly desirable. Candidates with a background as an Electronics Technician, Marine Electrician, Diesel Generator Technician, or related technical field are encouraged to apply. Formal education or technical training in electronics, electrical systems, or a related discipline is preferred. Previous military technical experience is helpful, particularly when combined with practical maintenance and troubleshooting experience. Work schedule is 6 pm - 4 am, 4 nights on followed by 3 nights off. Pay rate will depend on candidate's skill, experience, and training, however, our starting range is currently $30-$35 per hour.
