at Rocky Mountain Amusements in HAYDEN, Idaho, United States Job Description Rocky Mountain Amusements, Inc., is seeking an experienced Wooden Roller Coaster Consultant to provide specialized management consulting services related to the transformation and enhancement of roller coaster structures. The Consultant will support the Company with expert guidance throughout the re-construction, installation, and ongoing upkeep of key attractions. The Consultant shall perform for the Company management consulting services, specifically consulting services associated with the transformation, re-construction, maintenance, repair, and up-keep of the Company's new projects. One example of a project is the installation of a lift hill on the old Lightning Rod Roller Coaster at Dollywood Theme Park.
Additional duties include:
Track Removal Consulting:
Provide expert guidance on the proper and safe removal of original wooden track systems. Ensure track removal preserves structural integrity and meets safety protocols.
Steel Track Installation Oversight:
Provide consulting services on the proper installation of the Company's patented pre-manufactured steel track system. Ensure alignment with manufacturer specifications, engineering requirements, and industry best practices.
Maintenance & Repair Advisory:
Advise on routine and preventative maintenance procedures. Support the development of long-term repair and upkeep strategies for hybrid and newly constructed coasters.
Welding & Quality Control Consulting:
Obtain and maintain appropriate welding certifications in order to advise and ensure proper welding technique is used as necessary on the project. Provide quality control consulting services related to welding, including inspection, verification, and adherence to project standards.
Place of Employment:
11470 N. Carisa Ct., Hayden, ID 83835. The Company is headquartered in Idaho. However, the individual in this position will travel to all our jobs around the world for assessment of client projects and re-constructions, installation, and ongoing upkeep of attractions. The person in this position is expected to travel 8-10 months out of the year. Our work is completed all over the world, but our next jobs are in France, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA, and then Belgium.
