Job Description

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate and track thousands of test and measuring equipment in support of Manufacturing, R D, and multiple divisions across SEL. The Calibration Technician will immediately learn test and measuring calibration (in-house and outsourcing) and the process of bringing in new equipment. You will utilize the
MET/TEAM
Database and MET/CAL programs, which will be integral to accomplishing all new Technician training. As a Calibration Technician, a typical day might include the following: Completing calibrations on electronic test and measurement equipment. Developing new, improving existing, and documenting SEL calibration processes. Maintaining SEL calibration database for all 5,000 standards and electronic test equipment in use. Being an active partner in the development of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair programs for production equipment. This job might be for you if: You have a two-year electronic technology associate degree. You have a minimum of two years manufacturing test/test development experience. You have a working knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits. You are familiar with modern test equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years' experience in calibration activities. Experience with Fluke metrology software.

Pay Range Data - $32.88 - $48.60 per hour We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
