Job Description

Industrial Technology Teacher (CTE) McCall-Donnelly High SchoolPosition Overview McCall-Donnelly High School (MDHS) is seeking a full-time Industrial Technology Teacher to support and grow our Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. This position focuses on hands-on, project-based instruction while maintaining eligibility for Idaho CTE standards and funding. MDHS values strong relationships and challenges students to grow while modeling Kind, Reliable, Engaged, and Driven behaviors. Primary Responsibilities Deliver hands-on, project-based instruction aligned to Idaho CTE standards Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging shop environment Build strong relationships with students to support engagement and growth Collaborate with CTE staff, counselors, and administration Support CTE compliance, documentation, and program development Course Responsibilities (May Include) Computer-Aided Design (CAD 1 & CAD 2) Technology Education (Tech 1, Tech 2, Tech 3) Construction Technology (Construction 1 & 2) Project-based shop coursework aligned to CTE standards Additional courses may be developed based on certification and resources. Desired Qualifications Experience in construction, manufacturing, CAD, welding, fabrication, or related trades Commitment to hands-on, applied learning Ability to manage shop safety and equipment Strong student relationship-building skills Teaching experience preferred but not required for approved CTE pathways. Certification Pathways (CTE Funding Eligible) Option 1: Idaho-Certified CTE Teacher (Preferred) Valid Idaho teaching certificate with appropriate CTE endorsements Classes in construction careers exploration Classes in the Pre-Engineering Program Classes in the Engineering and Technology Education Program Option 2: CTE Occupational Specialist Certificate Industry professional eligible for Idaho CTE Occupational Specialist Certificate Willing to complete required CTE pedagogy coursework Purpose of Flexible Hiring Maintains and stabilizes current CTE offerings Preserves state CTE funding eligibility Expands applicant pool to include skilled professionals Allows future program growth aligned to student pathways

$55,990.00 - $90,001.00 per year
