Our Aurora location houses a large showroom and dedicated brass, woodwind, and string repair shops supporting musicians and school music programs across the region. We're looking for an experienced woodwind technician who values quality craftsmanship and wants to work in a well-equipped shop alongside a collaborative team. The Role You'll handle a wide variety of woodwind repairs—from student instruments in our rental fleet to walk-in repairs for pro players. We're looking for someone who can evaluate instruments independently, recommend repairs, and take pride in delivering excellent playing condition. Responsibilities Maintain and service our woodwind rental fleet Evaluate instruments, estimate repairs and complete bench work. Play-test instruments to ensure proper performance Communicate repair needs clearly with customers and staff Enter service tickets in our enterprise system What We're Looking For 2+ years professional woodwind repair experience Strong diagnostic and bench skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with the shop team Professional and approachable when interacting with customers Basic computer proficiency Retail and/or Spanish language skills a plus What We Offer $26-$30/hour depending on experience Flexible schedule with overtime opportunities Well-equipped repair facility A steady variety of work serving musicians and school programs A respectful environment where craftsmanship matters Paid time off available.
