CNC Automation Technician

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CNC Automation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated systems that drive our production processes. If you're comfortable with operating and setting up CNC machining centers, designing and implementing new automation cells, and maintaining and troubleshooting automation cells in a CNC, machining and assembly environment, then this position could be a great fit. Responsibilities Ability to operate and set up CNC machining centers. Assists in the design and implementation of new automation cells. Maintains and troubleshoots all automation cells in the CNC, Machining, and Assembly areas. Collaborates with shift supervisors to provide coverage for all automation cells. Reviews all existing automation cells on a periodic basis looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operator support. Documents all automation job processes. Assists with machine setups. Provides support to machine operators. Assists with job process adjustments. Develops and maintains shop floor support material, e.g. job packets and machining reference manual.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. Trade school or college courses are preferred. Good written, verbal, math, interpersonal and computer skills.
