Event Marketing Manager

Duties Develop comprehensive event marketing plans aligned with organizational goals, including target audience analysis and strategic outreach. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, from venue selection and catering arrangements to entertainment and guest services. Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and entertainment providers to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control without compromising event quality or guest experience. Oversee event promotion through various channels such as social media, email campaigns, and community outreach to maximize attendance and visibility. Lead on-site event management, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest services, and timely execution of all activities. Build strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate successful collaborations and upselling opportunities. Track event performance metrics post-event to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement in future initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in event marketing, event planning, or hospitality management within settings such as hotels, restaurants, or fundraising organizations. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure contracts that benefit both organization and vendors. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, team members, and guests. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Experience in banquet operations, catering coordination, or restaurant/hotel environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management for large-scale events. Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Familiarity with event management software and tools for planning and tracking purposes. Ability to demonstrate time management skills while maintaining attention to detail throughout all phases of event execution.
