Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other mechanical repairs to maintain building integrity and aesthetics. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical panels, and other essential infrastructure. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues with automated systems and implement necessary repairs. Follow safety protocols while working with electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and during maintenance painting or carpentry tasks. Read technical schematics and manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs efficiently. Lead small maintenance projects or assist in larger repairs with team members to ensure timely completion. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for compliance and future reference. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from building occupants or management. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, or general mechanical repair. Strong knowledge of electrical systems including electrical equipment repair and electrical work safety standards. Familiarity with HVAC systems repair and troubleshooting techniques; experience with HVAC system diagnostics is preferred. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, carpentry tools, and maintenance painting supplies. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair including pipe fitting and leak detection. Mechanical knowledge related to building interior maintenance including carpentry and facilities equipment upkeep. Ability to operate an ohmmeter for electrical testing purposes. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
