JCI, Siemens, Tridium (Niagara)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation of Building Management Systems (BMS) across commercial and industrial sites in the Chicago area. This is a hands‑on role suited to technicians with strong field experience and a solid understanding of modern BAS platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and service BMS/BAS systems on siteDiagnose and resolve control system faults and network issuesWork with JCI, Siemens, and/or Tridium (Niagara) platformsModify and optimise control strategies to improve system performanceRead and interpret control drawings, schematics, and sequences of operationLiaise with project managers, engineers, and end clientsProvide documentation, testing, and commissioning reportsSupport upgrades, retrofits, and system expansionsRequired Experience & Skills3+ years' experience as a Building Automation / BMS TechnicianHands‑on experience with JCI, Siemens, or Tridium (Niagara) systemsStrong knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, etc.)Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting control systemsBasic networking knowledge (IP addressing, BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus)Ability to work independently in the fieldValid driver's licenceDesirableNiagara N4 certificationSiemens Desigo or JCI Metasys experienceExperience working on large commercial buildings (offices, healthcare, data centres, universities)What's on OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceOvertime and on‑call opportunitiesCompany vehicle and toolsCareer progression and manufacturer trainingStable pipeline of projects in the Chicago marketApplyIf you're a Building Automation Technician with strong BAS experience and want to work on high‑quality projects in Chicago, apply now or reach out for a confidential discussion.
