We are a building repair and maintenance company working on commercial buildings, apartments and industrial buildings. We do repairs and any issues our customers have, from plumbing, hvac, painting, drywall work, electrical, parking lot lights, roof leaks. We cover areas from Naperville, joliet, west Chicago, Lombard, and surrounding areas. Technician will have a company vehicle to perform all company task in and all material will be provided for by the company. Maintenance Technician will be responsible, and work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, for the overall maintenance of commercial buildings and all areas related to the day‐to‐day operations or service calls. Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities :
Respond to maintenance / repair calls with supervisor or in company vehicle. "Handyman"-type repairs, such as replacement of faucets, toilets, sinks, and auto flushers, drywall or joint compound repairs, replacement of light fixtures along with some electrical such as outlets, changing of furnace filters, HVAC motors, caulking painting, other light duty items.. Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery as needed Perform electrical troubleshooting Experience diagnosing or hands on troubleshooting a must. You will ensure the work of outside contractors is done with the highest quality. Other duties as assigned such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and various maintenance tasks which training can be conducted on Perform by our values of Respect, Kindness & Compassion, Honesty, and Service Excellence.. Candidate must be well-spoken with a neat appearance. Company vehicle and apparel will be provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school education or equivalent 1 year Hands on maintenance / handyman experience, Personable and trustworthy Be professional and focused on providing excellent customer service. Shows concern for a work safety program Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and successfully perform the essential functions of this job drivers license'
