Today the company continues to build upon its legacy of innovation, quality, and reliable component supply. This position is for 3rd shift. Job Summary Primary focus of this position is on preventative maintenance, installation and repair of production, automation and facility equipment and machines. Duties Performs, electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance, installation and repair of machinery, automation, production and facility equipment. Conducts Gemba walks to audit equipment performance and maintenance status. Troubleshoots production and automation equipment during regular production runs; performs basic root cause analysis. Assists in analyzing and identifying capabilities for process improvements. Maintains preventative maintenance and project order number records as well as After Action Review (AAR) documents. Creates and modifies PLC programs of robots and related equipment as needed. Assists in setting up, integrating and run-off of automation equipment. Maintains and continuously improves 5-S standards and other lean manufacturing activities within scope of responsibility and CIP (A3) priorities. Responds to technical emergencies after regular working hours if needed. Performs other job duties as assigned or needed. Qualifications Formal training in Industrial maintenance or equivalent on the job experience. Experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic maintenance and repair. Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff). Experience in troubleshooting robotic systems. Knowledge of tool room equipment (lathe, grinder, milling, welding, drill press, etc.). Experience with injection molding machines and peripheral equipment. Basic knowledge of CAD (access and view). Knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading. Knowledge of most common Safety rules (Lock out Tag out, Electrical, Hazcom). Knowledge of production efficiency metrics.
