Job Description
I&E Technician - Coogee Titanium (Ottawa, IL) Coogee Titanium is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support metal powder production, maintain safe and efficient operations, and assist with production activities as needed. What You'll Do Operate various equipment to support the production of metal powders Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems (motors, drives, wiring, conduit) Work with480V AC/DC, single- & three-phase systems Maintain control systems, PLCs, sensors, and instrumentation Diagnose and repair power distribution (panels, transformers, MCCs) Perform PM/PdM on electrical and automation systems Calibrate instruments and maintain records Identify and implement process improvements Ensure a safe work environment at all times What You Bring Electrical training (apprenticeship, trade school, or certification) 2+ years experience with: 480V 3-phase systems Industrial instrumentation & electrical maintenance PLCs and automation Experience with relays, starters, fuses, and control circuits Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and ladder diagrams Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Work Environment / Physical Lift 25-50 lbs regularly, up to 80 lbs occasionally Work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions Benefits Day shift 401(k) with 6% match + immediate vesting Health, dental & vision insurance Paid vacation, sick time & 12 holidays Paid parental leave Life & AD&D insurance Equal Employment Opportunity Coogee Titanium is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
