is a privately held company, in business since 2003. We manufacture, repair and calibrate scientific instruments for the petroleum industry. Our diverse market is laboratories, pipelines, refineries, marine and the utility industry. We are conveniently located in the Channahon/Morris area, west of Joliet. Evaluate and repair components or equipment from the field. Support Engineering as needed for prototyping, etc. Resolve production testing difficulties as needed. Excellent soldering/de-soldering skills Analyze results and recommend possible improvements to products or components. Develop new test procedures for instrumentation. Note deviations in performance not anticipated or indicated in test procedures. Design and implement test fixtures as needed to test products. Work with minimal supervision; cooperates effectively with other department personnel. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Requires an Associates/Bachelors Degree in Electronics/Engineering or equivalent experience Able to read schematics to troubleshoot components Must be well organized, detail oriented and thorough. Good communication and customer service skills and ability to work with different types of personalities Required to stand/sit for long periods of time Able to lift 50lbs Travel local and out of state 50% of the time (US, Canada & the Pacific) Must have valid driver's license and passport Must have car in good working condition Drug/Alcohol testing (pre-employment and random) Background check for
TWIC & DISA
enrollment Credit check for travel purposes Salary based on experience. Six month training period.
