Full Job Description Maintenance Technician Location:
Mount Pulaski, IL, 62548 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mount Pulaski, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance metal stamping, troubleshooting, repair, and possess strong electrical and mechanical skills. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to quickly identify root causes and implement effective repairs. Perform repairs and adjustments on stamping presses, conveyors, and other production equipment. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance metal stamping operations. Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to repair and maintain stamping presses and related manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment is highly desirable.
