ESOP Job Summary:
Seeking a Calibration Technician to ensure accurate measurement and reliable operation of process instruments in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role calibrates and maintains equipment such as pressure, flow, temperature, torque, and pH instruments, while partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and vendors to support quality and compliance.
Job Duties:
Calibrate, repair, and maintain process instruments used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, such as pressure, flow, temperature, pH, conductivity, and torque measurement devices. Document calibration results, measurement uncertainty, and traceability to standards (e.g., NIST). Identify measurement errors and ensure instruments meet accuracy requirements. Provide technical support to internal teams and customers regarding instrument use and compliance. Maintain adherence to quality systems and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on calibration or metrology experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing. Knowledge of measurement principles, uncertainty analysis, and industry standards (ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1). Ability to read technical schematics, specifications, and calibration procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
