About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and control systems to troubleshoot complex issues, implement preventative maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your proficiency in predictive maintenance technologies and commitment to safety will be crucial to your success. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve intricate equipment malfunctions, addressing both hardware and software components to minimize downtime. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with industry standards, optimizing equipment lifespan and performance. Identify and procure necessary parts and supplies, evaluating alternatives to enhance equipment cost-effectiveness and reliability. Utilize predictive maintenance tools to gather and analyze equipment performance data, proactively identifying potential issues and recommending solutions. Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, employing CI tools and methodologies to streamline processes and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and analyze CMMS data to inform future maintenance strategies. Set up and operate machining equipment, including lathes and drill presses, to fabricate and repair parts as needed. Adhere to all safety policies and regulations, promoting a safe working environment and identifying potential hazards. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems schematics. Proficiency in using basic and specialized hand tools. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Preferred Skills Associate degree with a technical focus and 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience with vibration analysis, laser interferometer operations, and precision alignments. Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and their application. Welding experience.
