Do you thrive on chasing down root causes by watching machines run—and then tearing them down to fix what others can't? Are you equally comfortable tuning control instruments, aligning mechanical systems, and troubleshooting PLC‑based equipment? Would you enjoy fabricating or repairing parts on a lathe, drill press, or grinder—and welding when the job calls for it? What you'll tackle Perform break/fix work and preventative maintenance to industry standards with minimal guidance. Observe devices in operation to isolate issues; dismantle assemblies; adjust functional parts and controls; repair/replace components. Work hand‑in‑hand with customer teams to plan and execute maintenance, reliability, and PM tasks. Operate within industrial control systems to analyze complex equipment and resolve problems across electrical circuitry and mechanical systems. Identify and obtain required parts, supplies, and repair items. Document all work in service reports and relevant management systems. Adhere to contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping expectations, and safety procedures; maintain situational awareness to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions. Advance your skills through on‑the‑job training and technical self‑study. Must‑haves High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree (technical) plus 5 years of related industry experience; or 7 years of experience in a specific industry. Ability to use basic and specialized hand tools effectively. Hands‑on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems; capable of analyzing problems, developing alternatives, and executing repairs. Extensive travel required (Local, National, International). Nice‑to‑haves Preventative maintenance methods, precision measurement, mechanical alignment expertise, and broad process equipment maintenance experience. Familiarity with PLCs, field devices, and electrical drive/motor systems. Where you'll work Expect a loud factory environment with the possibility of hazardous materials and greasy or slippery surfaces. You'll frequently stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, climb (including ladders or lifts) and balance, and you'll often stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in tight spaces. Talking and hearing are routine; sitting is occasional. You'll sometimes lift or move more than 50 lbs. Close and color vision are regularly required. Pay range:
