Job Description
SUMMARY:
As a Laser Operator, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations. You will be primarily responsible for operating our tube laser, assisting with the operation of our sheet laser. This role demands precision, attention to safety protocols, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Shift is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fulfill daily production requirements assigned by work orders or the production manager. Performs work in accordance with established safety procedures. Work with and handle different materials. Load raw material into the laser's material loading area. Load programs into the laser and operate the laser. Unload finished product and stack and secure on pallets. Perform measured and visual checks on processed materials based off engineering prints. Place finished pallets in designated areas. Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality and safety. Conduct regular machine assessments throughout the day. Maintain activity logs and or production orders. Perform other duties as assigned.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to read a tape measure. Must have basic computer skills. Blueprint and CAD drawings reading experience is a plus. Must be able to stand for extend periods of time. Forklift experience. Ability to stand for long periods. Adapt to hot/cold environment, humidity, dust, and noise.ADDITIONAL NOTES
Safety Glasses- Company provided
- Required while in the shop. Industrial work shoes or boots required while in the shop. Proper PPE must be worn for the job
