Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a UPS Technician and become a vital part of ensuring the reliable operation of critical power backup systems. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and associated equipment to keep essential facilities running smoothly. Your mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and proactive approach will drive success in delivering top-tier service to our clients. Responsibilities Perform field service repairs and maintenance on UPS systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. Use hand tools and schematics to disassemble, inspect, and repair electrical and mechanical components of UPS units. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Diagnose electrical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and interpret technical diagrams to identify faults accurately. Repair or replace components related to computer hardware, low voltage wiring, and mechanical assemblies within the UPS systems. Collaborate with clients to understand their system needs, provide technical support, and ensure proper system operation. Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system configurations for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience in field service or as a service technician with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with computer hardware and networking fundamentals. Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Experience working with low voltage systems and electrical components is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward equipment troubleshooting and repairs. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with clients and team members. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
