The main focus of the unit is the provision of safe and quality-driven care reflective of evidenced-based practice. We receive our patients from a variety of sources: emergency room, direct admissions, transfers from other hospitals, intensive care, and other units. The unit is fast paced, dynamic environment with exposure to Trauma and all different types of surgeries. You will have the opportunity to cross train into Surgical Step Down and SICU. This is a great opportunity to advance your career into Level 1 Trauma SICU. You will receive EKG training, ACLS, and CEU credit annually.GENERAL SUMMARY
