The candidate must be able to provide technical support for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Work pertains to electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. These technicians are required to have some practical knowledge of science or engineering. Some positions may require a practical knowledge of mathematics or computer science. The candidate must be familiar with mechanical and electrical concepts and applications and must have experience using testing equipment such as: volt/ohm meters, power supplies, micrometers, calipers and depth gauges along with other hand tools. Candidate will be operating in environments that could result in the use of ladders, scissor lifts and or man lifts. It is expected that the candidate will have some experience in dealing with mechanical and electrical prints in their work history Candidates must: Communicate well Work well in a team environment Self starter Effectively utilize both hand and electrical powered tools (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, nutdrivers, impact wrench...) Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing materials and tools after use. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to production and safety Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Education or equivalent Database or Excel experience is a bonus Forklift experience is preferred Must be able to use a computer and simple software applications.
