We are looking for a talented Instrumentation Engineering Associate to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: : Leads group members in daily activities required to meet targets; responsible for cost, quality, and delivery targets. Designs, develops, and documents new data acquisition systems; serves as expert in hardware and software systems; coordinates and sets up tests;troubleshoots problems, Assists and trains other employees as needed. Schedules and prioritizes projects in order to produce optimal results; schedules work by interfacing with customers both internal and external as well as support groups within the company. Specifies, purchases, and maintains equipment; fabricates prototypes; designs and executes field tests. Uses a number of general tools including but not limited to digital multimeter, soldering iron, function generator, and frequency generator. Reads and interprets electrical wiring diagrams. Communicates (oral and written) technical information to a diverse customer base.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required with Department of Labor Certification OR Associates degree from an accredited program in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience OR Bachelors degree in a related field. Must pass all related testing.

Experience:
