Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MBD Powertrain Calibration Engineer with strong expertise in Model-Based Development (MBD), MATLAB/Simulink, and powertrain calibration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, calibrating, and validating advanced powertrain control strategies to meet performance, efficiency, and emissions targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement control algorithms for powertrain systems using Model-Based Development (MBD) methodologies. Perform calibration and optimization of powertrain components to meet regulatory and performance requirements. Utilize MATLAB and Simulink for modeling, simulation, and algorithm development. Conduct validation activities including Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. Analyze test data and refine control strategies to improve system performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, testing, and software development. Document models, calibration procedures, and validation results in accordance with engineering standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in Model-Based Development (MBD). Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink. Expertise in powertrain systems and calibration techniques. Solid understanding of control systems engineering principles. Experience with validation processes such as MIL, SIL, and HIL.
