This is an excellent opportunity for dependable, mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy troubleshooting and repairing industrial tools and equipment in a shop environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship. Dependability and the ability to work overtime when needed are essential in this fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, adjustments, testing, and repairs on industrial equipment. Troubleshoot and repair small gas engines. Repair and service pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, and contractor tools and equipment. Complete work orders, repair documentation, and parts requests accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Plan, organize, and complete assigned work with minimal supervision. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. Provide professional customer service while supporting internal operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Preferred Equipment Experience Experience repairing one or more of the following: Manual Chain Hoists Chain Pullers Pneumatic Tuggers and Winches Pneumatic Impact Tools Electric and Pneumatic Power Tools Electric Threaders Milling Equipment (Electric & Pneumatic) Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Technical or vocational school training preferred. Experience repairing industrial tools and equipment preferred. Moderate knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repair techniques. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced repair shop. Ability to obtain an internal forklift certification. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Able to multitask while maintaining quality and safety standards. Professional attitude with strong customer service skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidate must provide their own hand tools for repairs (bench equipment provided). Physical Requirements This position requires frequent physical activity, including: Standing for extended periods (over 90% of the workday) Walking, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds regularly Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds Operating hand and power tools safely Good hand-eye coordination and close vision for precision repairs Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. Work Environment This position is primarily performed in a repair shop environment.
